May 1st, 2010 - Sensei Denis Cordeiro of Montreal Kanreikai Karate welcomed nearly 300 competitors at the YUKAN Karate Championship 2010. Hanshi Manny Matias presided over this 10th Karate Championship organized by Sensei Denis.
Participants from Montreal, various Quebec regions and Rochester, NY, took part in the day-competition featuring kata, weapon kata and semi-knockdown fighting events. |

Along with Hanshi Manny, Sensei Bob Underhill, Sensei Gary London and Senpai Mori Ichikawa traveled to Montreal and help out as judges during the competition.
The tournament was a great success. World Kanreikai Karate was represented by more than 70 students and Senpai. All performed very well and made us proud!
